Walter Marion Harper, age 87 of Athens, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Harper was born July 12, 1931 in Paducah, KY.
Funeral services for Mr. Harper are Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dement Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Elisabeth Barksdale Harper; daughter, Sherry Graham; niece, Diane Coleman (Gary); brother, James Carrol Harper; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Preceded in death by first wife, Betty Harper; sister, Erma Graves.
