Walter James VanDusen – Obituary

Walter James VanDusen, age 76, of Killen, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Center Star United Methodist Church. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the church with Brother Ian Butler officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, Florence.

Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Center Star United Methodist Church, was retired from Rolls, Inc., and was previously a member of the Killen and Center Star Volunteer Fire departments.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy; children, Ronald (Wendy) VanDusen, Debra (Mark) Estes, Rick VanDusen, Walt VanDusen, and Tina (Ron) Hickman; sisters, Joyce Bonnell and Gwen (Jim) Boyer; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association .
