Wally Ernest Rickard 82 of Cherokee, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025.
Mr. Rickard was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Louise Hargett Rickard and Charles Ernest Rickard. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and the Alabama National Guard. He also retired from Tennessee Valley Authority.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Rickard of Cherokee; daughters, Susan Wilz (Ted) of Yorktown, VA and Kathy Velazquez (Rey) of Miami, FL; sister, Bettye Fowler (George) of Frisco, TX; and grandchildren, Ally Velazquez, Isabella Velazquez, Luke Wilz, Emma Velazquez, and Rey Velazquez.
