Walker County Man Dies From Injuries Received In Single-Vehicle Accident

WALKER COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Walker County has taken the life of one person:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. Thursday, March. 12, has claimed the life of a Carbon Hill man.

Jonah Evan Earl Johnson, 29, was fatally injured when the 2017 Ford F-250 he was driving left the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned. Johnson was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.

 

The crash occurred on McDade Road near Atkins Road, less than one mile south of Carbon Hill, in Walker County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
