JASPER-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Walker County that has taken the life of a pedestrian:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m. Sunday, May 1, has claimed the life of a Dora man.
Justin A. Capps, 39, a pedestrian, was walking on Alabama 69 when he was struck by a 2010 Toyota Yaris driven by Wesley Perry, 29, of Jasper. Capps was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash, which occurred near the 211 mile marker, approximately five miles north of Jasper, in Walker County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
