Funeral services for Mr. Wade McCollum, age 74, are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Mazies Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mazies Chapel Cemetery. Mr. McCollum passed away Wednesday, November 28, in Huntingdon. He was born December 24, 1943 in Henderson County to the late Edgar Clay and Callie Clyde Gurley McCollum. He was retired from Lindsey Carpet and was a member of Mazies Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vonnie Sue McCollum; step-children, Randy Azbill (Terri) and Sandy Maness; daughter, Stacy Young; brother, R L. McCollum; grandchildren, Michael Azbill, Josh Azbill, Tyler Maness, Haley Young, and Kinzie Young; and his best friend, Zula Woods White. He was preceded in death by his son, Shannon McCollum; one brother, Richard McCollum; and three sisters, Naiomia Whittle, Dorothy E. Scott, and Eddie Mae McCollum.
