W.H. “Dub” Battles, 85, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Monday, September 27, 2021. Visitation will be Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Friday, October 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Jeff Noblit.
He was a member of Grace Life Church of the Shoals. He was a strong UAW Union member and an avid Alabama Football fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Joyce Battles; son, Gregory Mark Battles; and brothers, Llyod Battles and Travis Battles.
He is survived by his sons, Terry Battles (Jennifer) and Mike Battles; grandchildren, Micah Battles, Brooke Burns (Al), Courtney Sanderson (Jeremy), Brett Battles (Sarah), and Allison Lindsey (Jeremy); nine great grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Lumsden and Peggy Jones; brothers, Clifford Battles and David Battles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
