W.C. Sharp has sadly passed away on June 9, 2024, born on September 19, 1928, he leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.
In his lifetime, W.C. Sharp found joy in simple pleasures – hunting in the great outdoors, casting his line for a day of fishing, and expressing his creativity through wood carving. His talents and passions endeared him to many and will be remembered fondly.
While W.C. Sharp may have left this world behind, he is survived by family and friends who will carry on his memory with love and gratitude. Among those left to cherish his legacy are sons Raymond Sharp, Ricky Sharp, Kenneth Sharp, daughter Barbara Parrish, sisters Sarah Ruth Smith and Betty Mae Arnold, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of his life.
He is preceded by his beloved wife Clara Delora Sharp, his parents Hubert Sharp and Beadie Mae Woods Sharp, his son Louis Sharp, brothers Jack Sharp, Billy Joe Sharp, and William Sharp, as well as his sister Virginia Wallace.
A Visitation in honor of W.C. Sharp will be held at Valley View Church in Florence on June 13, starting at 10:00 AM until 12:00PM followed by a Funeral Service. These services will provide an opportunity for all who knew and loved W.C. Sharp to come together in remembrance and find solace in each other’s company.
W.C. Sharp’s departure from this world marks the end of a life well-lived and the beginning of a new chapter in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace knowing that he was cherished and will always be remembered with profound love and admiration.
