W.C. Handy Music Festival – Street Strut – EVENT PHOTOS

FLORENCE – The weather last Saturday was picture-perfect for the W.C. Handy Music Festival’s annual “Street Strut” parade. for years the event has been held to celebrate those persons who have bravely fought back against cancer. And the event is always well attended. This year  saw representation from a number of different family groups who marched together. There was music from a number of schools, and a lot of individual entries. Grand Marshalls were Dr. Carlos Handy, grandson of W.C. Handy and Realtor/Broker Shirley Neece.  A great Saturday morning and a great way to end another Handy Fest!
