W.A. Postell, age 62, Haleyville, AL. passed away Tuesday December 22, 2015 at his home. He was a retired Salesman from manufacturer housing, member of First United Methodist Church-Haleyville, AL.
Family receiving friends will be on Saturday December 26, 2015 from 12:00Noon – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, with his Memorial Service to follow at 1:00PM in the chapel, with Benny Knight officiating.
He is survived by his daughter, Kerri Postell (Ben Reece); granddaughter, Olivia Grace Hobbs; brothers, James Postell, Charlie Postell and Donny Postell; sisters, Geneva Manasco, Pauline Vorva and Luevoise Berry; a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Beatrice Postell; sisters and brothers, Lucille Baker, Novline Benefield, Ruth Levert, L.C. Postell, Frankie D. Postell, Barbara Fielder, J.L. Postell, Visten Hyde and infant baby sister.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in honor of Shannon Postell Miller.
