Vonnie Thomas Clayton, Jr. “Sarge”, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Deerfield Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vonnie Ree Clayton, Sr. and Mattie Lurlene Busby Clayton; one brother, William Bill Clayton; and one step-grandson, Dusty Garland.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, July 14, 2017, with Leslie Shadrick officiating. Interment will follow at Houser Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
