Vivian Onzell Carden Funeral Services for Vivian Onzell Stricklin Carden, age 87 of the Grandview Community, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 in the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethsadia Cemetery, with Bro. Scott Sessions & Bro. Steve Rodgers officiating.

Mrs. Carden was born on May 9, 1928 to the late Richard Franklin Stricklin & Artie Ann Taylor Stricklin; she passed away at Hanceville Nursing Home on Saturday, February 20, 2016. She was a longtime resident of the Grandview Community, a member of Center Hill Methodist Church and a beloved wife, mother & grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings.
She is survived by her Husband of 69 years – Lester L. Carden; Daughter – Delwin Burdette; 3 – Sons – Harry (Judie) Carden, Bruce (Deena) Carden & Phillip (Vicky) Carden; Sister – Vonda Lee Sutton; Brother – Donald Lee Stricklin; 9 – Grandchildren – Melissa Novalis, Stephanie Carol Long, Kimberly Burdette, Jeanna Jackson, Christina Smith, Mitch Carden, Courtney Lambert, Hanna Carden & Haley Carden; 12 – Great-Grandchildren; 7 – Great-Great-Grandchildren; and a Host of Nieces & Nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
