Mrs. Vivian Marie Dickerson, age 91 of the Aspel Community passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Speers officiating. Burial will follow in the Aspel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday beginning at 11 a.m.
Mrs. Dickerson is survived by her daughters, Brenda Dickerson, Jane Dickerson Whitaker (Ronny), and Nancy Dickerson Smith; grandchildren, Jacob Taylor (Devin) and Kasey Whitaker Tipton (Tim); step-grandchildren, Kim Whitaker Cochran (Wendell) and Jesse Whitaker (Trina); and great granddaughter, Leah Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurley Dickerson; infant twin sons; parents, William Floyd & Florence Hooper; siblings, Billie Hall (W.C.), Doylene Marquard (Paul), and Floyd Hooper; and her in-laws, Romey & Lizzie Dickerson.
