Vivan Louise Gomez, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday after a long battle with cancer. She was sustained by her strong faith and supported by her large family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Allison Marie Gomez; father, Manuel Gomez, Jr., and brother-in-law, Brad White.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Andrew Orozco, Sr.; sons, Joseph Andrew Orozco, Jr. and Eric Michael Orozco; grandsons, Jesse Elijah Orozco and Jace Kane Orozco Kaholokula; mother, Ana Maria Gomez; brothers, Manuel Gomez III (Gina) and James Gomez (Kim); sisters, Teresa Hughes (Tony), Cathy White, Paula Mulqueen (Jack), and Dawn Long; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023, followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
