Virginia Wilson Boshell Casey, 88, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025.

A native of Gardendale, she made her home in Haleyville near her son’s family. She had a love for flower gardens, tole painting, and a good card game, always bringing creativity and warmth to those around her. Known for her keen eye for fashion, she never missed a detail and had a remarkable memory for outfits. In her later years, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, creating cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Dr. Muris Boshell and her husband, William Casey. Her parents, Lee Hoyt Wilson and Millie Hale.
She is survived by her son Dr. Ray Boshell and wife Dr. Amy; daughter Dr. Tina Boshell Wilson and husband Rod Wilson; grandchildren Jedi Boshell and wife Reyna, Melissa Boshell, Kimber Boshell, Ivan Wilson, Alex Wilson and Cortland Wilson.
