Mrs. Virginia Rae Harmon age 71, of Somerville passed away at 2:55 am Sunday March 24, 2013 at Huntsville Hospital. Her service will be Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Peck Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00am with Rev. Ralph McCollum officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday March 25, 2013 from 6-8pm at Peck Funeral Home. She was born August 23, 1941 in Topeka, Kansas to Ralph Melvin Hagen and Virginia Leigh Mott Hagen. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Virginia Hagen of Bella Vista, Ar. Her twin Daughters: Heidi and Beth Harmon(February 8, 1968). One brother Stephen Harold Hagen of Las Vegas, Nevada. One Grand Daughter: Lindsey Gabrielle Saint. She married Warren Lee Harmon on June 9, 1963. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband. One Son: Shawn Harmon(Melanie) of Birmingham, Al. One Daughter: Sherri Saint(Buddy) of Somerville, Al. One sister: Mary Beth Miller(Lyman) of Eldridge, Ia. One Brother: Charles Hagen(Peg) of Richmond, Virginia. Grand Daughter Shaniah Harmon and Grand Son Devin Sanders. Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers. She taught school for blind students in Lombard, Il. for 3 years. She also taught in Castleton grade school, Valley grade school, Lincoln, Il. grade school, St. Claire Catholic grade school in Waveland, Ms. and several other places. She did various volunteer work for many years in many places. Ginger was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her cheerfulness and kindness were a blessing to all who knew her. Her strong faith in God was the reason she was as kind and loving as she was. She never met a stranger and always put everyone else first. Family request any memorials be made to the Alabama Baptist Childrens Home.
