Virginia Morgan, age 87, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015. Graveside services will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia, Alabama, Sunday, July 12, 2015, at 3 p.m. She retired from Reynolds Metals Alloys. She was of the Baptist faith and also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, VFW, Elks, and Fred Astair Dance Studio.
She was preceded in death by husband, R.C. Morgan.
Survivors are daughters, Carolyn Morgan Handley (Eddie) and Linda Morgan Cheek (George); son, Gary Wayne Morgan Sr. (Ann); sister, Katherine Laverne Wallace; eight grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be George Cheek, Morgan Cheek, Michael Handley, Wesley Handley, Bernard Foster, Ben Richardson, Lance Richardson, and Jeremy Kerig.
