Virginia Moore (Spoljoric), of Guntersville, Alabama, passed away on February 13, 2025.
Virginia Moore was 80 years, 11 months, and 9 days old at the time of her passing.
Born to Charles and Florence Spoljoric (Duney), Virginia was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman, and her brother, Carl (survived by sister-in-law Nancy). She is survived by her two sons, Mark Moore and Steven (Crystal) Moore; her brothers, Dave, Danny (Sally), and Bobby (Diane); her sister, Christina; and a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Virginia was deeply involved in her church, St. William Catholic Church in Guntersville, where her faith and kindness touched many lives. She had a love for the outdoors, finding joy in long walks along Lake Guntersville. A dedicated and hardworking woman, she took pride in everything she did—whether in the jobs she held or in her willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need.
A funeral service will be held at St. William Catholic Church on February 20th at 11am with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. William Catholic Church in her honor.
