Virginia May Knowles 94, of Ardmore,AL died Tuesday, June 06, 2017 at her home in, Ardmore, Alabama.
Born Saturday, April 28, 1923 in Portland, OR, She was the daughter of John Henry Heim and Alberta May Hubbard Heim. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ardmore, and of the Eastern Star. She loved flowers and making pictures of her relatives and was a bit of a perfectionist.
She is survived by her Husband of 70 years , Knowlen Knowles, Ardmore, AL, Daughter, Melissa Knowles, Ardmore, AL, Sons , Philip Knowles, Decatur, AL, Knowlen(Fuqua) Corky Knowles, Jr., Concord, GA, and Major Foster (Kendall) Eugene Knowles U.S. Army, 4 Grandchildren, Anson Chauncey Knowles, Thomas Gregory Knowles, John Hatton Knowles, and Beckett Foster Knowles, and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL, at 12 Noon with Bro. Billy Taylor officiating.
