Virginia L. Banett was born January 29, 1942 in Lee county to the late L. J. Barnett and Missouri Richardson Barnett. She departed this life Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was a member of Mt. Nebo C.M.E. Church in Baldwyn, MS.
She was united in Holy Wedlock to the late Tommy Lee Grice and unto this union eight children were born. Anita Partlow, Allison King, Janice Mobley,
Randall Grice, Talvin Grice and Robyn Grice. She was preceded in death by one son, Gerald Grice.
Sisters; Jessie Bradley, Rebecca Scales, and Roberta Barnett: brothers; Wilmer Barnett and George Barnett; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
