Virginia “Jennie” Smith, age 88 of Albertville passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at her home.
There will be a graveside service at 2:30 Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Memory Hill Cemetery. Bro. Joe Cannady will officiate her service. Music will be provided by Josh Davis and Beth Hooper. Pallbearers will be Paul Smith, Riley Davis, Ross Davis, Austin Davis, Cody Hooper and Josh Davis. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 at Albertville Memorial Chapel.
She is survived by her daughters; Celeste Kennamer and Leslie Davis (Tim), grandchildren; Paul Smith, Riley Davis (Leigh Ellen), Ross Davis (Maegan) and Austin Davis (Aleah), great-grandchildren; Jackson Davis, Ryleigh Kate Davis, Kade Davis, Kallie Davis, Koker Davis, Kaselyn Davis and Acee Davis. She is also survived by her nieces; Lisa Rowell and Patsy Roberts and nephew; Rod Smith.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Clara Smith and her uncle; Robert Riley.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to “Not Alone” at First Baptist Church Albertville.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
