Virginia “Jean” Franklin, age 95 of Florence, Ala. passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at E.C.M. Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Franklin was a native of Wayne County, Tenn., a homemaker and a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Florence, Ala.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Wesley Franklin will be officiating. Burial will follow in Hollis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
She is survived by her sons Donald C. Franklin and wife Dorothy of Wetumpka, Ala., Tim H. Franklin and wife Lynn of Rogersville, Ala., Roger C. Franklin of Augusta, Ga.; daughter Lynda Young and husband Gene of Florence, Ala.; sisters Maude Linville, Florence, Ala., Ruby Gambrell Gibson of Florence, Ala.; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Donny Franklin, Jacob Franklin, Jeremy Franklin, Caleb Franklin, Josh Franklin and Blair White.
