Funeral service for Virginia “Ginny” “GiGi” Johnson, 63, of Somerville will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 2:30 PM at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Rob Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00PM until 2:30PM at the church. Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery. Peck Funeral Home is directing.
Mrs. Johnson died on July 10, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born June 2, 1952 to Henry Henderson and Clarissa Taylor Henderson. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Johnny Henderson.
Mrs. Johnson had a 30 plus year career as a nurse in the operating room. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and painting as a hobby. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, loved the LORD!!! and her church family. Family would like to extend a special thanks to Jane Alexander.
