Virginia Gale Watkins Pylant, 67, homemaker and former resident of Columbia, died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born September 27, 1953 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Tom Ed Watkins and the late Monie Lou Roland Watkins. Mrs. Pylant attended The Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her sisters, Joyce (Burt) Pendleton of Madison; Peggy Hudson of Lewisburg; Carolyn Dodson of Columbia; brothers, Tommy Joe Watkins of Murfreesboro; Eugene Watkins of Murfreesboro; Dwight Watkins of Columbia; Donnie Watkins of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lula Mae Jones; and brothers, William Watkins, and Charles Watkins.
