Virginia Faye Skelton, 72, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Mrs. Skelton was a member of Grissom Chapel Holiness Church. She loved children and puzzles, and also enjoyed gardening. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, at Grissom Chapel Holiness Church, officiated by Bro. Larry Marshall and Bro. Danny Keymon. Interment will follow in Grissom Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11, and will continue until service time at the church. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include four daughters, Ruthie Green of Burnsville, MS, Judy Hamm and husband, Tom, of Burnsville, MS, Linda Standfield and husband, Roy, of Cherokee, AL, and Edna Frazier and husband, Scottie, of Poplar Bluff, MO; two sons, Kenny Skelton of Burnsville, MS, and Beau Green of Cherokee, AL; three sisters, Shirley Bratton and husband, Larry, of Calhoun City, MS, Brenda Arlene Fincher, and Dorthy Mae Fincher; two brothers, Charles Eugene “Gene Boy” Boyd of Canon, CO, and Larry Ray Fincher of Barton, AL; thirteen grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Skelton; her parents, Burtis and Ruthie Harvill Fincher; three daughters, Brenda Kay Choat, Rosemary Thompson, and Laura Jane Thompson; a son, Robert Edward Thompson; a great-grandson, Brylan Green; a sister, Mary Ann Sanders; and a brother, Jerry Fincher.
