Virginia Elizabeth Russell Terry passed away Thursday morning, February 23, 2017, at Southern Tennessee Regional Healthcare System Pulaski. She was born in Slipup, Alabama on May 5th, 1929 and was 87 years old.
Virginia was a homemaker and a noted baker throughout the community. She was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church in Giles County. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
The visitation will be 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock Saturday, February 25, 2017, at the Trinty Baptist Church in Trinty, Alabama.
A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00.
Internment in the East Lawrence Memorial Gardens in Lawrence County Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Terry, parents Mack and Virginia Ann Landers Russell along with eight brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her
daughters, Rhonda (Eric) Thorson of Nashville.
Mitzi (Mike) Terry-Cochran of Pulaski.
Grandchildren, Dustin Smith of Arkansas
Lauren Smith of Pulaski.
Lars Thorson of Nashville.
Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
