Visitation will be Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Double Springs Church of Christ. Funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. with Dennis George, Paul George and Vance Hutton speaking. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery, with Justin Guin giving the closing prayer.
Pallbearers will be Chris Posey, Don Posey, Pat West, Frankie Hicks, James Allen Pruett and Bart Shannon.
Ms. George is survived by her sons, Dennis (Cynthia) George and Paul (Kaylyn) George; brother, Nicky Bass; grandchildren, Hannah (Issac) Wood, Caleb George and Alana George; and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Ethel Bass; husband, Hubert W. “Stubby” George; and brother Kenneth Bass.
