Virginia Charlene Cheatham – Obituary

Virginia Charlene Cheatham, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born April 21, 1932, to Grover and Sular Bell Franks. She was a homemaker.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 15, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Tony Kelsie officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkville Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Edith (William) Vinson, of Mooreville; two sons, William (Debbie) Cheathamof Hinckley, Ohio, and Robert (Sharon) Cheatham of Eculid, Ohio; one brother, Lawer Franks of Baldwyn; five grandchildren, Amanda (Bryan) Arnold of Mooreville, Kimberly Robertson of Fulton, and Adam Cheatham, Alison Cheatham, and Andrew Cheatham, all of Euclid, Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Brysen King and Henry Arnold, both of Mooreville, and Cody Robertson of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Cheatham; four children, Roger, Anita, Paul, and Thomas; her parents, Grover and Sular Bell Franks; a brother, Charles Franks; and a great-grandson, Garrett Bryan, son of Amanda and Bryan.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at the funeral home.
