Virgil Watson Wiser of Pulaski passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was born in Pulaski on October 1, 1931 and was 85 years old.
He was a loving father and grandfather, he left Giles County in 1948 and spent the next 40 years trying to get back. He worked in the Auto Industry and his passion was restoring the classic cars.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 29th from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home
Graveside Service will take place on Friday at 2:30pm in Giles Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Bessie Wiser sons, David Carl Wiser and Stanley Bruce Wiser and sister, Naomi Foster.
He is survived by his,
Wife of 65 years, Jo Dean Wiser of Pulaski
Son, Randall Virgil Wiser of Pulaski
Grandchildren, Kimberly Diane Wiser of Murfreesboro, Kelly Wiser of Murfreesboro, Kristie Wiser of Nashville Stanley Benjamin Wiser of Nashville, Jacob Randall Wiser of Nashville, Hannah Catherine Wiser of Pulaski, and Abigail Marie Wiser of Knoxville.
Brother, Edward Wiser of Hermitage
Sister, Judy Vaugh of Manchester
Several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Virgil Watson Wiser.
