Virgil Milton White age 83 of Athens, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. White was born December 28, 1931 in Limestone County, AL to John White and Maybell Root White.
Services will be Friday, October 16, 2015 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Maddox officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mr. White was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Survived by his wife, Deanie White of Athens; one daughter, Kellie white of Huntsville; two sons, R.V. White and wife, Wanda of Athens and Kevin white of Prospect, TN; one granddaughter, Christie Rippey; two great- grandchildren, David Reece and Heather Reese; two brothers, Alvin white of Madison and John White of SC; one sister, Lola Belle Herring of Paris, TX.
Pallbearers will be Tony Taylor, Shaun Hess, Patrick Castle, Curtis King, Ricky King and Gary King.
