Virgil Lee Peden, 62, of Killen, AL, passed away April 14, 2013, after an extended illness. Mr. Peden was a mason by trade a member of the Faith Church.
Mr. Peden is survived by the love of his life for 46 years, his wife Patricia Peden; mother Lillie Mae Peden; son Darrell Green (Sabrina); daughter Kimberly Killen; brother Billy Peden (Sandra); sisters Patricia Peck (Bobby) and Brenda Borden (Roger); grandchildren Byron Green (Katie), Brandon Bevis, Will Bevis, Trey Bevis, and Frankie Stewart; the father of the Bevis boys, Larry Bevis Jr.; the mother of grandson Byron Green, Debbie Cochran and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
Mr. Peden was preceded in death by his father, Jessie James Peden.
The family will accept friends Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 3-5:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home for a celebration of Mr. Peden’s life.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the members of the Killen Rescue Unit, Dr. Timothy Martin, Edsel Holden, and Dr. Balbak.
