Virgil Lee Grinnell, age 93, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retried from Crockett Hospital, a lifelong gospel singer, and a member of Calvary Hill Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wince and Molly Jaco Grinnell; his first wife, Ann Grinnell; three sons, Virgil Grinnell, Jr., Jimmy Grinnell, and Jerry Grinnell; and two granddaughters, Chelsea Grinnell and Kim Grinnell.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
