Virgil Edward Bennett, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired supervisor from Murray Ohio, and a member of Park Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ida Mae Hudson Bennett; his wife, Beatrice Perry Bennett; and one son, Roger Bennett.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 25, 2017, with Ricky Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Park Grove Baptist Church.
