Virgil Edgar “Virg” Hamby, age 45 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. James Aaron and Joe Fowler will officiate.
Mr. Hamby was preceded in death by his Brother-Bobby John Hamby; Grandmother-Annie Mae Miller; Grandfather-Virgil Miller; Grandmother-Edna Mae Hamby; Grandfather-Edgar Franklin Hamby; Grandfather-William Lawrence Aaron; Grandmother-Alice Faye Aaron.
He is survived by his Mother-Darlene Harrison of Jasper; Father-Johnny Hamby (Wanda) of Jasper; Daughter-Ceanna Rain Robbins of Cordova; Sons-Gage Michael Robbins, Gavin Dakota Robbins and Alex Tristan Robbins all of Cordova; Sisters-Amy Jones (Dennis) of Nauvoo and Lora Upton; Brothers-J.T. Tolbert and Willie Jack Tolbert both of Bremen; 1 Grandchild.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made towards the funeral expenses.
