Funeral service for Virgil D. Foote, 75, will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Foote died on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born October 11, 1939, in Morgan County to John D. Foote and Omie Mae Wright Foote. Mr. Foote was employed at General Motors for 31 years before his retirement, after which, he also worked for the Hartselle City Schools system as a custodial worker. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter: Elaine Foote.
