Albertville Funeral Home Downtown announces the death of Virgie Norlene Daugette Orr, 73, of Albertville, AL, who passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. Due to the current State Health Department requirements the family will be holding Private Services with burial to be in Martling Cemetery. Mark Williams and Donnie Patterson will officiate. Pallbearers will be William Thompson, McKinley Orr, Jim Thompson, Logan Roland, Ronnie Baugh, Brian Cordell, Scott Thompson, Robert Morrow. Preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Orr Sr, mother, Mollie Edmonds Daugette, father, Willie E Daugette, daughter, Kimberly Jeffers, sister, Nell Hayes, brothers, Fred Daugette, Willie “Buster” Daugette, Roy Daugette, Jerry Daugette. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Thompson (“Peanut”), son, Willie James Orr JR (Sonia), sister, Margie Wooten (Ed), grandchildren, Alexis Jeffers, William Thompson, Jim Thompson, McKinley Orr, Logan Roland (Sasha), August, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
