Virgie Lola Hunter, 97, Madison, passed away Monday. She was a former employee of Jean’s Dress Shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Hunter; daughter, Claudine Gent; step-son, Stephen Hunter. She is survived by her daughter, Jimmie Sue Davies; son, Robert Glenn Kirby (Katherine), two step-daughters, Ann Howard and Kathy Palmer; twelve grandchild and a number of great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Madison with funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Mike Oliver is officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
