Violet Inez Burt, age 93 of Nauvoo, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Prospect Methodist Church, with burial at Old Prospect Cemetery. John Harrison will officiate.
Mrs. Burt was preceded in death by her Parents-Fred and Maude Smith; Children-Loyde Dutton and Vershel Dutton (Linda); Daughter-in-law-Maybelle Dutton; Brothers-Clyde Smith, Clayton Smith, Bruce Smith and Paul Smith; Sisters-Mildred Davies, Ruby Swindle, Elsie O’Rear, Davelene Powless, Marie Scott Ferguson and Laura Lou Duncan-Hart; Husbands-Jessie Dutton and William Burt.
She is survived by her Daughter-in-law-Nancy Dutton of Jasper; Son-Roy L. Dutton of Nauvoo; Sister-Janelle Baughn of Jasper; Grandchildren-Denise Benshoof (Bill), Doug Dutton (Connie), Jessie Dutton (Marie), Mike Dutton (Karen) and Lisa Hood (Chris); 9 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
