She loved her family, bowling, bingo, and cooking more than anything. The door was always open to eat at “Nanny’s” house. Her life was filled with a large number of people who loved her greatly. Growing up in Walker County, she would attend school at Parrish, AL.
She was preceded in death by her Parents-Virgil and Bernice Herron. Husband- Manley Duell Brown, Sisters-Linda Odom, Paulette Sandlin, Betty Fuller.
She is survived by her Sister-Mary Dean Chappell, Sons-Johnny Duell Brown (Mable Patricia), James Kelly Vee Brown (Linda), and Phillip Scott Brown, Grandchildren-Brandy Leigh Brown, Kevin Duell Brown, and Johnny Richard Brown (Trisha Brown), Great Grandchildren-Kelsea Barnett, Kylan Barnett, Kevin Daniel Brown, Arabelle Brown, Anjali Brown, and Emma Brown.
Nanny, Ninny, Doris, V, or other names come to different minds but most importantly would be a friend and loving woman that cared enough to listen, correct, and support anyone. To a fault, she would allow anyone the benefit of the doubt. This woman will be missed but never forgotten.
May you be with God in Paradise.
Pallbearers: Kevin Brown, Johnny Brown, Darryl Brown, Keith Brown
