Violet Diane Ball, age 62, of Moulton, Alabama, passed away on March 14, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital in Decatur, Alabama. She was born on December 23, 1963, to Wilburn and Violet Blackwood. Violet enjoyed yard sales and loved collecting trinkets and treasures. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her children and her beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her children: April (Allen) Hopper, Rachel Ball, Gina (Shane) Miller, and Zachary (Chasity) Ball; grandchildren: Makinze Hinkle, Madison Hinkle, Brody Hinkle, Summer Ball, Travis Hopper, Negan Yates, and Kington Ball; great-grandchildren: Harper Hinkle and Emmerson Hinkle; brothers: Houston Blackwood and Robert Blackwood; sisters: Connie Barnett and Kathy King; nephew: Patrick Ball; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Ball, and her parents, Wilburn and Violet Blackwood.
