Viola Virginia (Key) Lamar, age 77, of Cordova, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Curry Cemetery. Jeff Key will officiate.
Mrs. Lamar was preceded in death by her Husband-Phillip Lamar; Granddaughter-Amy Tolbert; Father-Willie R. Key; Mother-Annie Aultman Key; Grandparents-Viola Busby Key, Thomas J. Key, Lucy Aultman and Melton Aultman; Brother-William Key; Sister-Mary Woods; Baby Boy Key.
She is survived by her Daughters-Virginia Key Tolbert of Jasper, Darlene Jackson of Jasper, Sarah Keeton of Fultondale and Bonnie Hicks (Jim Swindle) of Jasper; Son-Phillip Lamar of Cordova; Brothers-James Key of Chesley and Enoch Key of Jasper; Grandchildren-Susie Tolbert Stevens (Marty), Chris Tolbert, Sonya Keeton Smith, Larry Johnson (Amanda), Tammy Greatorex (Ray), Karen Hubbard (Derrick) and Austin Swindle; Great Grandchildren-Sarah Ashley, Jacob Smith, Jayla Calvert, Ashley Greatorex, Trinity Hubbard and Aila Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Lamar, Randy Teaford, Paul Kilgore, Phillip Teasley, Jimmy Swindle and Teddy Bailey.
