Viola Sivley Bullard, aged 107, gained her heavenly wings March 9,2026 at Decatur
Health and Rehabilitation Center where she had resided for the last nine years. She
was lovingly cared for and treated as the Queen she was.
Viola was a farm wife and homemaker in her earlier years. She was a mother,
grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother, sister and aunt to many
nieces and nephews. She was fortunate to travel and see many different parts of the
world through the eyes of a farmer. One can only begin to imagine the changes and
miracles of this modern world she witnessed over her 107 years.
Viola was born to Richard White and Margie Moore, February 25,1919. She had two
sisters, Beaulah Gibson and Mae Moody, three brothers, Bentley White, Fred White and
Robert White, all who preceded her in death. Also preceding her were her first husband,
Edward F. Sivley, second husband Henry A. Bullard, and son Thomas (Tommy) Sivley,
stepson J.D. Bullard and stepdaughter Patsy Bullard.
She is survived by daughter Kathy Tadlock (John), grandchildren Lawrence Tadlock (Alayne), Maggie Tadlock, Lynn Morgan (Regina), Tony Morgan (Lisa), Chris Morgan (Tiffany), Alma Borden (Patrick),
Mark Bullard, and Barry Bullard (Belinda), son in law Darrial S. Morgan and daughters
in law Jackie Sivley and Dorothy Bullard. She is also survived by beloved grandchildren,
great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews who loved
her dearly.
Services for Viola Bullard will be on Thursday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at Shelton Funeral
Home. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
The family would like to especially thank the caregivers at Decatur Health and Rehab
over the past nine years for their kindness and love of our loved one. Also, Hospice of
North Alabama for their wonderful care.
