Viola James McDaniel 89, of Waterloo died Sunday, August 16, 2015. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rod Stansky officiating. Burial will follow in Huff Davis Cemetery.
She was a member of the Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert L. McDaniel, her parents Ab and Selena James, two grandchildren, one great-grandson, two brothers and six sisters.
Survivors are her sons: Richard McDaniel (Cindy), Donny McDaniel (Lisa), and Lenoard McDaniel (Betty Sue); daughters: Starlene Davis (Frankie), Deborah Howard (Donnie), Sherri Speegle (Chris), Terri Caldwell (Larry), Margaret Scott (Anthony), and Connie McDaniel; thirty grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren with five on the way.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
