Funeral for Villard D. Morgan, 83, of Decatur will be Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor George Sawyer, Pastor Emilio Sanchez, Pastor Dave Nelson and Phil Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Morgan passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Parkway Medical Center. He was born June 18, 1930 in Alabama to W.E. and Mary Morgan. He was a retired self-employed contractor for 45 years.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years, Lois Morgan; and five brothers, Hollis Morgan, Johnny Morgan, Willard Morgan, Herchell Morgan and Dell Morgan.
He is survived by one son, Philip D. Morgan of Decatur; two daughters, Joan Morgan and Brenda Morgan, both of Decatur; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family.
