Villace Lorene Cobb, 94, of Florence, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at Lauderdale County Nursing Home. She was a member of Singing River Church of Christ. She spent her work life as a seamstress for a local textile company.
Visitation will be held at on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 11a.m – 12a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Blair Cemetery in West Point, TN. Officiating the services will be her son, Danny Carson.
Villace was proceeded in death by her parents, George Elmer Cobb and Minor Lucille (Sharp) Cobb; sons, Jimmy and Randy Carson.
She is survived by her son, Danny Carson; daughter, Patsy Carson, Florence, AL; grandchildren, David Carson, Danny Lee Carson, Courtney Carson, Chloe Carson, Daniel Osborne (Natalie); great-grandchildren, Terra, Rhaegar, Foxx, Cora Rose, Nova, Bradley.
Pallbearers will be David Carson, Danny Lee Carson, Chloe Carson, Danny Carson, Tony Ricketts. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rhaegar Carson-Marks and Foxx Carson-Marks.
