Viengkham Vongsamphanh Mrs. Viengkham Vongsamphanh, age 79, of Nashville, TN passed away Monday, January 30, 2023. She was born in Vangvieng, Laos to the late Khamhom and Khammy Vongsamphanh. Mrs. Vongsamphanh was a member of the Lao Buddhapathip Temple in Nashville. She was a very happy person who enjoyed crochet and knitting. Mrs. Vongsamphanh went fishing on Percy Priest Lake as often as she could. She like to shop for clothing and jewelry.

 

Mrs. Vongsamphanh is survived by her husband, Sy Vongsamphanh; children, Khampong Senemaynak and his wife Thimchay, Naly Boutsady and her husband Kevin, Keith Vongsamphanh and his wife Amanda, Pat Dewaratanawanich and her husband Viraphonh, Phoumy Mikavan and her husband Noy, Oudone Vongsamphanh and his wife Pon, John Vongsamphanh and his wife Amber, and Addy Biggers and her husband Kurston; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Monekeo Vongsamphanh, Leo Vongsamphanh, Vieng Vongsamphanh, Manivah Vongsamphanh, and Somano Vongsamphanh; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ketmany Vongsamphanh.

 

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A Traditional Laotian Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
