Victoria Ann Grant Dunnagan, 61, died at her Sherman residence as the result of a massive stroke on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023. Vickie, as she was known by her family, was born in Memphis, Tn. on Feb. 5, 1961 to the late Alvin Earl Grant and Patricia Ann Johnson Grant, who survives. Victoria worked as a server in the hospitality industry much of her working life. She was an active Church and attend Heaven’s Gate Apostolic Church in Tupelo. She enjoyed hanging out with her Mother and sister.
A Prayer service honoring her life will be held at 11 AM Thursday at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with her brother in law, Pastor Danny Ethridge officiating. Private burial will follow in the Union Cemetery north of Belden. Visitation will be from 10 AM-service time Thursday only at Holland-which is honored to be serving friends.
Victoria is survived by her mother, Patricia Ann Grant of Sherman; her children, Amandlyn “Mandy” Douglas of Memphis and Daisy Wentzler of Memphis; her sisters, Patricia Denise Grant of Memphis and Deborah Lynn Grant Ethridge and husband, Danny of Sherman, with whom she lived.
