Vickie Lynne Marks, 70, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on October 18th, 2026. She was born on December 4th, 1955, in Athens, Alabama, to Bobby and Robbie (Bullington) Duncan.
Mrs. Marks is survived by her daughters, Carmen Vinson (David) and Heather Marks; grandchildren, Dawson Vinson, Michael Vinson, Alivia Nelson, and Bennett Nelson; great-grandchildren, Silas Vinson and Elaina Vinson; niece, Reagan McCurry (Alex); great-nephews, Duncan McCurry and Walker Marks; great-niece, Andi James McCurry; and nephew, Lane Marks.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Pat Marks; parents, Bobby and Robbie Duncan; and brother, Andy Duncan.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 24th, 2026, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, at 10:30 a.m., with Gene Woodard officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., at the chapel. Pallbearers will be Dawson Vinson, Michael Vinson, David Vinson, Alex McCurry, Evan Lynn, and Victor Duncan. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Marks enjoyed sewing and crafting. She absolutely loved being a mother, grandmother, and a great-grandmother.
