Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Vickie Lynn Geer, affectionately known by all as “Miss Vickie”.  Vickie passed away March 13, 2020 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.  She loved singing Gospel music and was a member of the Keysman Quartet for many years.  She was a member of the Original Church of Jesus Christ.  Vickie was also an extremely gifted and multi-talented musician who played several instruments.  She enjoyed the ocean, floral designing, Sudoko and any type of puzzles to keep her mind sharp.  She will be remembered by her family as a very devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and one who loved to cook and entertain her family and friends.  Vickie is preceded in death by her mother, Lorine Petus Wright and her father, Mitchell Luther Wright; a sister Delores Milliway.  She is survived by her husband, Allen Geer of Manchester; daughters, Heather (Ayan) Martin of Columbia S.C., Amber Hickerson of Manchester, Tabitha “Tabby” (Chris) Scruggs of Richlands, North Carolina; son, Jordan (Holly) Geer of Winchester; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Cameron, Kristina, Mackenzie, Rhianna, Dujan, Aubrey, Adison and Kamila; brother, Dwain (Wilma) Wright of Estill Springs.  The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home Sunday March 15, 2020 between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m.  The funeral ceremony will be conducted from the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday March 16, 2020 with Bro. Randell Thomas of the Original Church of Jesus Christ officiating.  Mrs. Geer will be laid to rest in Watson-North Memorial Park with friends and family serving as pallbearers.  Online condolences may be sent to www.watsonnorth.
