Our beloved “Meme,” Vicki McCulloch Coulter, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on November 15, 2025. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th from 11am to 1pm at Peck Funeral Home with a private, family-only graveside service to follow officiated by Dr. Clayton Speed.
Vicki was born on August 7, 1940, to Zola Dawson McCulloch and Edna Margaret McCulloch. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle for the past 45 years, where she cherished her church family—especially her Sunday School class. Vicki was a woman of deep faith, kindness, and generosity, and she loved her family unconditionally.
Vicki enjoyed a long and distinguished 37-year career with Regions Bank, beginning in 1965 and retiring in 2002. She was proud to be one of the first female officers at Regions, a role in which she excelled with grace, dedication, and integrity. She deeply valued the relationships she formed during her time at the bank and took great joy in helping those in her community.
A true Southern lady, Vicki was known for her warm hospitality, her love of cooking, and the joy she found in serving others. She also cherished the game of bridge and enjoyed spending time around the card table with close friends. Nothing brought her more pride, however, than her grandchildren. She loved cheering them on in sports and supporting them wholeheartedly in all of their endeavors.
Vicki is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jackson “Jackie” Daniel Coulter; her two sons, Victor Lee Coulter and Jackson “Dan” Daniel Coulter II (Morgan); and her three precious grandchildren, Hannah Coulter Williams (Zach), Caroline Elizabeth Coulter, and “Jackson” Daniel Coulter III. She is also survived by one sister, Judy Wilder (Roger).
She leaves behind a legacy of love.
To say she will be missed simply does not capture the void her passing leaves in the hearts of those who loved her. The family would like to extend special thanks to Hospice of the Valley and her wonderful caregivers, whose compassion and support were a comfort to Vicki in her final moments.
They also wish to thank two dear friends, Sheree Lane and Angie Coulter, for their unwavering love and support throughout Vicki’s journey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Hartselle or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
